Welcome to Hilton Head Island, one of the most beautiful places to work and
play in the world. My family discovered Hilton Head Island in the early 1960's as a place to spend summers away from our home in Summit, New Jersey and bought property in 1961. In 1965, while in college I began to spend my summers working various jobs for Sea Pines Company, from the Children's Program as a young teen to a Sales & Marketing position. I simply fell in love with Sea Pines Plantation nas the Island and became excited about Charles Fraser's dream to create a premiere development. I felt that his concepts of houses blending with the environment, architectural coherence and low-key signage were brilliant and ahead of their time. When I graduated from the University of Vermont in 1972 I knew I wanted to be involved in real estate in Sea Pines and have been selling property here ever since. I worked for Sea Pines Real Estate Company for 10 years and subsequently started my own company in 1984. Since then I have been one of the most successful agents on Hilton Head Island. I've seen the island grow from a sleepy beach community to a world-class resort with every amenity imaginable. I love the island as much today as when I first came here in 1965 and share that love with my wife, Hester, and our two children, Hester and Will. Tennis, boating, running, and soccer are just a few of the ways we enjoy the beautiful environment here. The only reason I leave is to ski out west in the winter. My 28 years of experience have helped my clients accomplish their dreams of owning a home on this wonderful island - and greatly improved their net worth at the same time! My resources and contacts in the community give clients an added advantage. I'm sure you will love living and vacationing here as my family has.
